ICT BARRIERS IN SOUTH AFRICA
South Africa is amongst the top 50 countries that are more developed, they are more advanced in terms of technology and being connected in the world wide web/ net / internet. This has seen South Africa being rated the most well developed country. The internet surely has provided the country with so many possibilities and we’ve seen things happening. For example we’ve seen the country hosting astronomical events and extravaganzas. People abroad are able to view and read about what our beautiful country portrays and possesses.

This lead to people or visitors coming here in numbers just to get the glimpse of how it is like to be a South African. Information Communication Technology (ICT) has offered so many South Africans plenty opportunities to being able to read about the world in their respective offices, homes and at work as well. Even in their vehicles and they are able to utilize the internet where ever they go. With the whole accessibility of the net, South Africa has difficulties or barriers that contribute badly towards making our country more modern.

hi This is as a result of not installing computer appliances in schools. Installing computers at school will help the country to be more effective in the education sector, productive and will boost the economy of the country as well. learners will be in a position to use the computers at the early stages. And it will develop them cognitively and intellectually. Learning and teaching will be changed forever. This will help teaching to be more advanced, and especially in rural areas most people envy to use nor press the computers but they are not able to do that because they have no access to computers.
T This is a huge barrier in ICT. Another barrier is : even if computers are brought and installed at distinguish schools, the government lacks the stuff or people who will be in a position to teach the computers in the schools. So this lead to the over spending of tax payers money in trying to create or producing skillful individuals who will be teaching the computers at schools.
